Hi
Have a P200E engine with a standard carb and a 213 Pinasco kit and when I take her up to between 65-75mph she seems to lose power, feels like fuel starvation or misfiing like you get with a scoot with points. Had the car up jetted and the scoot put on a diagnostic but no joy. is the carb too small or does the timing have to be set back a couple of degrees.

There's your problem, Rich. You upjetted your car instead of your scoot.

No, your carb isn't too small. 24/24 si work fine even with a malossi kit. Maybe you should change your main jet from 116/100 to 125 or bigger. Main jet is responsible for the behavior of your motor at high revs, so that is the problem , no doubt!

sip recmmend 120-130 main, be3 atomiser and b9 plug. but really going over 125 on a standard si24 is a waste of time,
