hi mate brought a f reg px 125 with a 200 engine so told, its got really strange seat on it a front single sadlle and a square foam thing behind it !! u got it of ebay by the way for 750 pounds but only half a log book !!! were is the frame number on this? and how can u tell if its some indain import thingy ? what to look for ? cheers gaz
p.s anyone near braintree who works on vespas for money?

Go to scooterhelp.com click the serial number search and put your numbers in.

Frame number is on the rear of the frame under the engine side panel if it's a PX,.. Post a pic if you can. No disrespect mate, but buying a scoot off Ebay you have not seen, you are not sure what it is, and you dont have complete docs is a pretty risky strategy to happy scooter ownership! Hope it works out for you!

hi bryno , no its not mine mate when an brought it without me !!! i wouldnt touched it with barge poll, think hes bin good proper done, the frame is a mark 1 when its a mark 2 no mot no tax half log book needs new tyres cables, shocks etc etc and the engine needs new crank seals and whatever else is bad when it gets opened and all this for £800, paintwork ok mind !!!

Blimey! £800 should buy a decent late PX with no real issues...
oh well, on the bright side parts are pretty cheap and readily available even engine seals wont cost much if he is competent enough to do it himself.. and it doesnt end up needing all new bearings, crank, rebore, piston, etc, etc
