Dear all
I've posted before about the leak on my 2 stroke tank on my 2004 PX200E.
It's been into the garage twice now to be fixed. First time they changed the oil seal, 2nd time they 'tightened' the loose nut at the bottom fron of the tank.
Still it seeps!
Last Friday me and the Mrs went into town on the scoot. Parked in a solo MC bay with the tail in the kerb. When we came back, there was a big puddle of 2 stroke underneath. However, when the bike was re-levelled on flat ground it slowed right down and has now all but stopped.
Is this summat to do with an overflow or the oil seal? Anyone else had this problem?

I agree take it back get them to remove the tank and tell them you want to see it when its out. Fill it with oil and see if it leaks before it gets fitted back in. make sure they clean the frame out totally including up where you cant see as a lot of oil could be held up there. When they put it back in make sure they are not forcing anything in it should just drop in . If they a forcing the veiwer through the hole in the frame they could be distorting the tank and causing the leak.

Sight glass may be cracked, happens a lot as they are easily kicked and tend to fracture, a hairline crack will cause a leak, Worth getting them to check this as well, or just replace it, only cost £6..
