got a px 125 (52 plate) and having bother getting it started either by electric start or with kickstart most times taking bout ten to fifteen goes from cold with ckoke out. Changed and cleaned plug n turn fuel tap of when not using. Runs fine when started n starts first time when warm. Bit embarrassing when trying to start n people just staring at me! thanks

Check Joke is working properly, try starting when cold without using choke, if its starts ok then your carb set up needs looking at. If it still doesn't start after about 5 kicks remove plug and see if its wet, and or oily, if so check its sparking by resting plug against engine and hit the electric start button. If not sparking then check lead and coil, if sparking check timing.
fingers crossed it should be one of them

Sorry if this is bleedin' obvious, but you're not opening the throttle while trying to start it with the choke on are you? You should leave the throttle alone when starting on choke.
