Hi all. Forgive me. It has been some months since ive posted on here.
Im in a bit of bother with the bike and id really appreciate your advice.
My 64 VBB has had some niggles with gear selector cables in the last few weeks. Ive tightened them and also had my mechanic do the same as there seemed to be some trouble selecting gears.
since i left the mechanics, however, the clutch lever has been becoming quite springy (moreso than usual), biting point has become quite high on release, and there is an excess of oil seeping from both handlebars at the point of lever arm and where the rotating arm on the headset meets. Im concerned of course and dont want to risk riding it so any advice on this would really be appreciated.
on another note, my speedo has stopped working and i only had the drive replaced 3 months ago. thats more a whinge than anything else though.
cheers in advance for any assistance guys and gals!

Cable has probably been tightened too much on the clutch so the biting point is a bit high, you can just slacken off at the adjuster under the engine.
Oil sounds like it's from when your mechanic oiled the cables/hand grip, nothing to worry about..
