I used to have a set on my PX. From what I remember, the bolts go through the floorboards and come out inside the brackets for the centre stand, making them quite fiddly to do, but they don't actually hold the stand on I don't think.
I say I used to have some on my PX, you know when a scooter gets featured in Scootering, and they have that little Q&A with the owner? One of the questions they ask is "What's the most useless item you've ever bought for a scooter?". When my Sprint was featured in Scootering, and they asked me that question, I said "Pillion footpegs for my PX".

I fitted some to sues old super a while ago and they did fit in the stand bolts on that. If its the same with the PX heres a tip take each bolt out seperately one at a time, turn it round and fit it up side down ie from the bottom then fit your pegs and reverse the job to get the bolts the right way round again. that way your stand is never actually off. probably best to leave it on the stand as well so the wieght keeps it in place. The stand is easy enough to fit though its the springs can be fiddly.
