Hi spence. just a query. can any small frame expert help.
I have just changed the wifes PK125 carb for a new one. old one was a spanish dell'orto shbc 201 , 20 or 21mm i think. new one is an italian 19\19. old main jet was a 80 and ran fine new one has a 76. I figured the smaller venturi would be compensated by the smaller jet. but it starts being asthmatic at 3 quarter revs. I put the 80 in and its still the same. am I missing something obvious? what jet should I need to go to up or down? before I go mad taking the tank in and out to remove both the carb and the skin off my knuckles.
thanks Mik

Ive now tried an 80, 76,75, and 78 the 78 sounds the best but it dies after 300 yards and will only start by bump starting. I have an 82 and 85 left. can't get hold of others. but I don't think I should be going up should I? I must have this machine going for Friday so she can ride over for northern aces. otherwise its me on the lammy and her in the car. I cant do 160 miles each way 2 up with camping equipment on the lammy. and I dont have the carrying capacity on the LML.
