i have a 50 special with a 110 kit on it, everything is honky dory until it is raining or the roads are wet, after a couple of miles or so the scoot just dies & when i try to kick it over its as though i have no spark. i change the plug(which is the exact same as the other one)& hey presto she kicks over again..except for last evening when it was absolutely p*shing down, i ended up pushing it for a 1/2 mile or so,kicked it over & nothing, replaced the plug, kicked her over & f**k me she starts again but by that time i'm p*sh wet through & mad as hell...any ideas why i have this problem ?

damp definitly gettin' in somewhere, probably somewhere near the back of your HT lead,or junction box, the back tyre tends to spray water about there when its wet. best to coat it in vaseline ( not the tyre ) ;D
