I'm hopefully going to buy a pk125 in the not too distant future which i was planning on restoring. I'm not exactly clued-up on engines and the likes but I was wondering whether
1) Those LML engines i've seen - would it be possible to buy a completely new engine and just replace it?
2) Would it be worth it?
Cheers

Erm, I may be corrected here by some of the more mechanically-minded forum members, but as the LML is effectively a PX engine, and the PK is a smallframe, I don't think you'll fit one in without some radical Dremmel work.

I have also seen LML smallframe engines from the "Sensation 125" which is essentially a Vespa HP. The only trouble is the single gear cable that can prove to be a headache to fit to a traditional headset. Other than that they just plug and play on any smallframe. Personally though I'd rather restore the old engine.
