Just bought a beautiful PX200 from fleabay. Got to get it MOT'd on Sat so need to sort out the intermittent horn. Never done it before but how do I remove the horncast to get to it?
Also, leccy start not working. Any common problems I should check first?

The Horncast is held by 2 screws inside Buttybox and 1 under Hex Badge on top of Horncast.For your starter you have to pull the Clutch in and then press the Button.If this doesn't work try Battery needs charging,loose wire on top of Starter Motor or Earth wire to Flywheel Cover.

Thinking about this you don't state the year.If it's around 1996 or 1997 the starter and the horn are DC from the Battery so i would go for flat Battery or Fuse gone.

Sorted - the whole thing was down to a duff battery. Replaced that and Bob's your uncle. Horn works and so does 'leccy start. Now all I need to do is MOT/Tax it and we're away!

MOT'd today. Back on the road so another scoot out of the shed being ridden not hidden!
