Hello thought this might help people.my 2001 piaggio x9 250 was sometimes not turning over when pressing starter button it only happens now and then suspecting starter button or side stand switch or relay .a second hand button nearly 20 pound on ebay I got one from Greece in a week delivered new for 6 pound just before fitting it found problem it was the kill switch which I never use it needed a clean inside.everything ok now even relay contacs can be cleaned.
