hi guys I'm pretty new to this so go easy on meπ I started my bike this morning on full choke and started 1st kick I let it run a few seconds till I heard the revs go up and pushed it in , gave it a few revs to keep it going and it sat fine with no problems. I had to do abit of messing around with clutch cable as it's all new and going through a settling in period. it was running for about 5mins then I stopped it and left it for about 15 mins but when I went bck to start it I had to use choke again as it wouldn't start again with out it. could this just be a case of it wasn't quite up to temp?

Could be not quite at temperature, out of the 2 scooters I have atm one likes the choke till its had a good run and the other will start without choke in the summer and half choke in the winter. Both seem to be running well, so think it's just the way some engine's run

And the girlfriend scooter will only start on choke and it has to be turned off as soon as it fires up

Adrian, my sloth was the same, bloody thing. Was as temperamental as a hedgehog with his coat on inside out....
