Pull the buggers real hard work free with a large flat head screwdriver from head set side. Dont lube new ones if you can get away with it. Use a little bit of a silicone spray if you have to and they should not slip. Oh yeah say hello to everyone in the introduction bit. You'll get a lot more help. People on here like a nice hello.

Don't do it, Sundance grips are crap on every front. They give no adsorption of vibration.

Just looked at what Sundance grips are. I really like the look. Seen them on scooters before. I like the balloon ones. But there not that comfortable either. I've found original ones are the most comfortable. The lads lml ones are the softest rubber. If you want them soft you may have to ditch the bling! You could always add some streamers. (Ha ha)

If you intent to ride a scooter, hard rally miles which is all I do, they would be last choice and that's from experience. I genuinely hope they work out for the original poster. Unfortunately "bling" is not my thing so couldn't advise, again best of luck finding something that works in light of the injury

I got a tight tip too, cheap hairspray to put them on... 🤠 Personally I think the Sundance grips look like a ribbed sex toy, plus I'm not really a fan of shiny sh*t, I've kept my original ones on the sloth. Each to their own though, makes sense about the vibration never thought about it.
