Hi All, I am a newly joined member and glad to become part of the Vespa community. I have a reasonable well look after GTS125 07 plate that is garaged when not on road and has low mileage. Looking for some help on a issue that is driving me a little crazy .... My GTS125 has an ongoing turn signal issue, where the right turn lights work 90% of the time. However when turning left the lights do not flash but the speedo cluster assembly back light seems to dim momentarily slightly. I have had it looked at by a mechanic who change the turn signal switch, this seemed to rectify the issue for about a week. I returned it back and the mechanic has had the bike stripped and cannot find the fault (this model has no relay switch). Looking through previous threads on this and other forums it was suggested that the issue may be down to a faulty CDI. So I bought a used one from a parts company in Holland. I have plugged it in (without reprogramming keys) I get power to the indicators as before although the engine will not run due to immobiliser reset not complete but at least I can test. The turn signal issue remains the same. Battery is fully charged and no other electrical problems noted. Any help or suggestions as to what may be the cause is more than welcome, I am happy to try most things even though I have limited knowledge. Thanks Below is a small video clip of what happens if it helps.
