So with all this extra time on my hand, I am going to spray my cutdown frame. But can't decide what colour to do. I can't decide between a grey metallic or yellow, so what do you all think ?,

I like yellow, but I always like parking next to a yellow vehicle because they collect all of the flies.., π

Thanks for that mate, but attracting flies wasn't something I was thinking of. So 1 for yellow π΅

Think metallic grey would look like primer Might be nice close up,but as youβre driving along Prefer a colour you can see And be seen, Less chance off being knocked off

How about grey and rust. I did the grey but someone else sneaked in and did the rust.

So how would I go about the rust effect? I know that the custom car guys do a lot of rusty looking stuff but haven't been sure how they do it , and it does look good

This stuff:- www.rustypaint.com/Or in some cases, it's bare metal, leave to go rusty, then apply a Matt lacquer.

Or do your best to rebuild with a rich lustrous finish and admire your efforts. Then wait 6 pishing months for Mother nature to get stuck in and you'll get your rust soon enough. All that sanding & filling & painting & polishing, why the flip did I bother!

Oh nearly forget. Remember to spill brake fluid down the front of your legshield as well cos that gives it character and brings the rust on even quicker.
