Am looking at doing my first scooter strip ready for it to be resprayed has anyone got any good advice about we’re to start and any tips, thanks any advice would be much appreciated

Hi and welcome to the forum 👋. My advice get a manual, take lots of photos and store all the little nuts bolts ect in sealed containers marked as to where they are from. A vespa isn't that hard to dismantle and rebuild, just take your time to remember how and where it all comes from. A

Got containers and sandwich bags ready to put screws and bolts in , got a Haynes manual too. Is they anything I need to know about taking out the electrics, got some coloured tape to maybe mark things up ?

Hi am currently removing my engine removed all the wires am down to my last bolt that holds the engine in which runs through the frame , but just won’t come out , can anyone help please ?

It's pretty straight forward, the one thing I would say after my own experience is take note of and take pics if you can of the control cable routing round the steering head and the same with the wiring loom. That way you can refit them the same way they came out. It's also worthwhile checking how the top hats are fitted in the handlebars that the gear and clutch cable outers fit into. I personally would fit new control cables throughout and I would remove the little metal clip that binds the two gear cable outers together as it's frankly a pain. Hope this is of help.

Use plenty of WD40 and make a cup of tea while it works it’s magic then use a large drift / screwdriver to tap the frame bolt through..... make sure you’ve something underneath engine & frame is stable tho first ! Good luck
