Which one would be the better one? I'm guessing the engines will be numbered... They seem awesome, but the price is way out for the general 2 wheeled idiot...

Reed valve technology is a bit more modern than rotary, so that would be the one to go for, I think even the later LML models used reed valve induction in their 2 stroke engines, Piaggio are not exactly famous for keeping their products up to date unless they have to due to legislation. After all the P range is directly descended from Rally models which had been around since late 60`s which were not that different from early 60`s models, but for me this is part of the attraction, bearing in mind there are a lot of 60`s Vespa models with PX engines fitted as they fit straight in and give performance and electrical improvements.
