I've recently rebuilt a autolube T5 engine and it started p*shing out two stroke oil between carb and carb box, I thought maybe the gasket was covering oil hole so I ordered new gaskets and took off carb oil hole was not covered. This is when I noticed carb was a si 24 24e. after some research I believe this is for a 200 Is this an upgrade from the T5 carb? Also how can you tell if the carb is for autolube or not?

Don't think it matters whether it's an autolube carb or not, I reckon there's no such thing. I reckon a proper T5 carb you cannot get the carb cover off without totally unscrewing the mixture screw.

I was thinking my carb may be for a premix and this was causing it to leak oil as it had nowhere to go when trying to enter the carb. It looks identical to one I have in my box of junk, can't really remember, has been in the box for about 25 years but I'm sure it came off a premix.

If you can get them, please do. Here is a video that shows you what an oil injection card has, that identifies it from a pre mix carb 😉👇 Mij☺

Thanks mij, that video confirmed l have a premix carb that explains why the oil was leaking out,I had it connected to autolube. I bought the scooter needing some work done to it the guy I bought it off had taken it as a trade in so didn't say anything about the non autolube carb probably didn't know. I just thought the scooter had been sitting for a while because the oil in the tank was congealed. Now awaiting delivery of a 24/24g.
