As very proud Scotsman, my first language is Scots ( this is true😉 ) en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scots_language we were only allowed to use this language at school, when studying Robert Burns! Using it any other time could/ would result in you getting the Tawse www.johndick-leathergoods.co.uk/the-true-history-of-the-lochgelly-tawse-memories.html, some teachers would also hit you on the knuckles with a ruler, if you wrote with your left hand, this happened to my Mother and I at school! as we are both left handed. My second language is English, as you can no doubt see from my spelling and punctuation! 😱😵😂 When I'm hunting for things to post, I use Google translate, but sometimes this doesn't work (YouTube for example) , other times shop sites usually age a link to change the language. mij☺
