Doing a bit of channel hopping last night, heard a cover version of The Jam's Pretty Green by some girly band being used on a Gok Wan programme. No idea who it was by, because Lorraine Kelly was on the screen at the time and I had to switch channels again before being physically sick.

Yes, it did. I quite fancy trying some of that cheesy ale bread, but with Cumberland soss, not onion soup......

Last mention of this before I get us back on track with the theme of the thread, I thought it was very good of the lads to stop and dish out bacon and sausage baps to the people of Doncaster. It was the first decent meal they'd had in years.
Watched one of my favourite films the other night on BBC1, Grosse Point Blank. Forgotten what a great soundtrack it's got, featuring music from The Specials, Toots & The Maytals, The Beat and The Clash.

Not being a big TV watcher, I caught that dance and that dance alone. Jesus, that was some outfit she had on In the words of the jowly insurance hound, "Ooooooh YAS!" I didn't see it all either. It now appears one of the couples also danced to Nowhere To Run (Martha Reeves): www.bbc.co.uk/strictlycomedancing/They haven't put the clip of Ola Jordan dancing in THAT outfit on the site yet, but they will. Stay tuned folks.

Okay boys, here it is. Only a Youtube clip, so a little grainy I'm afraid (or maybe it's just my eyesight). Should be better quality if they put it on the Strictly site though:

Well Spence, there I was driving through Bielefeld today when I saw a series of posters stuck on lamp posts advertising a "Liverpool Night" in a local club. Playing live are Karl Terry and The Cruisers (one of those bands that stayed out of the 60s Liverpool boom), The Undertakers (Mashed Potato) and........BERYL MARSDEN!! ;D I'll be there! Wait out for the gig review.

Bloody hell Beryl Marsden. As a Brit at a tiny little venue like that, I bet you get to have a word with the players. If you do, let Beryl know I'm still playing her song What's She Got? at mod nights.
Bargain Hunt pulled out all the stops today with Parklife by Blur, London's Burning by The Clash, LDN by Lily Allen and Ruby by Kaiser Chiefs.

Shall I try and get her to log on here?

If you can give her the website address and ask her to email me it would be brilliant - it's been a while since I've done a showbiz interview for the main site.
