New to this Forum stuff. Sorry if this is not the correct place to put this. Owned Vespas of different types for many years. Now have had since new a PX 125 since 2006. Little ridden 2015 so had good professional service done last spring. Rode about 1500 miles last year. (at my age, fair weather rider). No problems. Getting it ready for 2018 riding season. Starts first time (electric starter) with choke but dies after about 45 seconds run time. leave it for 20 min and try again, Hit or miss if it starts. Once going and warm no problems until cold again. Then same problem over again. Taken carb off and given thorough clean. (You Tube a great help). Drained old petrol and replenished with new. Checked petrol and oil flow from tank. good flow. Still got problem when starting from cold (OAT 5C). Anyone got any ideas that doesn't mean taking the tank out.

simscot, hello and welcome to the forum. you should maybe post your question in the Technical discussion section where more people may see it.
have you tried fitting a new spark plug?
