Tinderboy, reckon you got the wrong end of the stick.... Which model of Vespa do you prefer? Newer stuff or older style? I only have PX because the Douglas Rod is too flaming expensive, now I have them, I couldn't part with the dam things.... Quite like the SS180, again too much cash. I do like yours though Henri, giraffe on a smallie... 😁 Personally, I wouldn't have the newer style of Vespas (like the GTS, or whatever the newer stuff go by), I like my old stuff. The newest scoot I have is my iron sloth (56 plate 125 PX, the one that started it all off, one owner, meeee), and the oldest is a 1978 P125 (second scoot I ever bought, told my mate it would be on the road in a year, now been 11.... There's a 1 in it so legally I'm covered... 😐), it all depends on what you're looking for really.

tinderboy, I'm 6'2" and love the Vespa PX range, so I would recommend a p125x, px125e, a T5 mark 1 or a T5 classic, which are all hand gear change scooters that you will fit comfortably, the T5 + T5 classic are faster and more sporty.
You may also wish to have a look at a Vespa GTS125 automatic transmission scooter,as these fit taller people too and are quite fast as standard ( in scooter terms 😉).
Plenty info on the tinternet about all of the above scooters.Hope you find the correct one for you and hope to welcome you into the fold soon.
Good luck and feel free to ask more questions and plz let us know how your hunts going☺
Mij ☺

Thanks for the replies. Just to clarify I'm looking for something up to 5 years old really with low mileage. I've no interest in doing something up, so looking for something in very good condition. Thanks

Hi, update - I’ve gone and bought a GTS125 2012 model off of eBay! It was a bit of a gamble - paid £950 but then needed £500 Of work to make it safe. Did my CBT yesterday do now all ready to go!!
