hey i dont know if am counted as a young member but am 22 so decide for yourself..anyways just thought id see if anyone on here shares my love for music by the libertines/maximo park/artic monkeys/k.o.l/ryan adams and older bands like the cure, rolling stones, the who,the jam who get the picture! i listen to radio 1 at wrk everyday!where i can here all up and coming new bands!i go to loads of gigs about 50 gigs a year or more! so far i think seeing brian wilson at glasto in the sunshine, has been the highlight for me! Are you a student? as for my opinion Simon Fowler is the best Singer/Songwriter certainly in my time anyway, closely followed by Noel his accoustic gigs before Christmas were just out of this world!

One band you gotta check out is The Targets, been together for about 3 yrs,and still only 15, and 16yrs old.I know Spence saw them in 2005 at the cavern, and gave em a pretty good review but I urge you too catch em live they go from strength to strength. They write and arrange all their own music, and are creating alot of interest from record companies all over the country!!!They really are a breath of fresh air........See for yer sen:www.myspace.com/theuktargets Theres a four track ep on so give it a whirl...cheers!

Support for Neville Staples and The Beat last night in Liverpool well worth a look. Called The Talks (I think!!) in a similar vein to the Dead 60's but a bit punkier. Damn good stuff. Neville was ace too!!!
