Today I've mostly been.... Building an 8 foot outdoor trampoline for my Grandson in our garden, that his Gran ( my wife) bought him yesterday, after "borrowing" the money from my stash I'd saved up to buy either a: porting tool, kytronic Or Vapor Stealth Speedo! ππ΅. On the plus side, it came with a spring puller , so I got a "free" tool that'll come in handy! Lol π

Lol, I know, That's why I put "free" in comma's and " borrowed" cause I knew what would happen lol(woooosh straight over the head)π and she's just texted me from work, to say she never "borrowed" the money, I donated it and I should have checked the terms and conditions before handing it over!π±π©. Oh, and my stash isn't empty, it's depleted.πβ―

Gothlife, are you wearing a cricket box while riding this 'contraption'? One wrong braking manoeuvre and your balls will not only be pierced, they will be 'fitted' as bearings for the bmx whether you like it or not.... π¨ forget boris bikes, you'll have pasquale nuts..... Unless you're an eunuch ππ³

Mostly been.... Getting sunburntππ₯, fitting a full set of complete slippy cables, new center stand, which all went well untill it came to refitting the wires for my PM tuning rev counter and Trail tech temp gauge, what a fecking nightmareππΏ, last time I fitted them ,they went straight through the frame at second or third go, this time took about 45 mins to get them through,I usually get them through by taping them to a gear cable outer, after trying this for about 40 mins, gave up and taped them to a length of stuff fence wire and it worked second try!ππ. Oh and fitting the new plastic drip tray under the tank was fun, tooπ΅ Scooters! We love them! Ride safe. Mij π

today ive mostly been polishing a piston an honing a barrel . moral of the story is , when on the way to book a mot for a mate an ya stop for a natter with another mate .upon looking in tank an wondering "have i enuff to get to fuel station" an he says "ive some in a can for my saws" . you ask "what % you run on them on" an he says "2%" . should of asked "is it oiled an what %" , found out just as i was doing a cheeky overtake into opposing traffic , had a "moment" .then rolled into mot place on a saturday ,were 5-6 of the local bike hoonigans were hanging around .the youth were cheeky , the old-skool were understanding an was offered tea/lifts or overnight storage .luckily it was a 3 minute coast down hill to mot place so i'd got over my sense of humour failure by arrival . Hey Loon, whats it like on pillion with an extended fork ? Is it a bit hairy balancing the throttle for a full on wheelie ? P.S. Your build thread has all it's pics missing due to photobucket disabling third party sharing

Haha. It wasn't the most comfortable ride I've had but it works. Can't just about get my tip toes down at the lights. Was easier to ride than I thought it was going to be. Won't be doing it on the regular but is a good option when I can't be bothered to ride to the 5 miles to the skatepark. As for being stopped... we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

For the first time since having a complete new clutch fitted (thanks Atoms scooters) I spent about 4 hours on the road yesterday. I got the scooter 6 weeks ago but had loads of issues so eventually a whole new clutch later and all is good (fingers crossed), so I earned my brownie points by doing a bbq and washing and tidying up which left me time for a real ride out for the first time. I absolutely loved it, all on my own, the smell of two-stroke, flies in me teeth etc etc. Great day ;-)

Today I've mostly been... Prepping my favourite 80's Far " Volvo" style highish backrest for paint, bought it last year on eBay for Β£52, it's solid and the "Volvo" Far pad is in very good condition, just needing a repaint. Regret selling my scooter with one fitted, hunted for a few years for the right one! Also prepped my Utah screen for paint, had it stashed since the 80's, sold another complete with mirrors to a mate last year. Ride safe MijβΊ.
Oh and got a back tooth out at the Dentist, took 25mins of pulling π±, and got a new front false tooth fitted as the one I had knocked out doing martial arts a few years ago needed replaced!(Didn't block fast enough while sparring with three opponents at once Lolπ.

Dont want to put a dampener on ya gothlife, yer a nice young guy who seems to have gotten right into yer scooters and spent time to learn about them too but i reckon the cops will throw the book at you just to teach ye a lesson and that means points not prizes and that means other knock on effects...theres no way they're gonna believe its yer first time doing it and you'll never do it again, honest officer... They'll do it because they will be oblidged to stop you because of the load and then i would imagine check docs / stolen etc nevermind what the the lecture will be about the damage you would do to yerself and others
cheery as usual, me all the best

Gothlife, might be an idea to get a sidecar and take the bike apart a bit more ? When I was in Newquay last year there was a guy with a Suzuki VanVan with a surfboard carrier on the side, I'll try and find a pic
