Can the plastic covers on the front shock be removed? I am fairly sure I did this before but I can't bring myself to go out in the pouring rain to have a look in the shed  I guess they are there for a reason so is it recommended to remove them or not? I only mean for looks reasons, remove the covers and have the spring powder coated etc. |

i think the covers keep the crude out  i junked my old knackard shocks and replaced them with sebac one's  they not only cost about the same but look better and bike rides better  |

Does it ride firmer on the Sebacs? I fancy doing that conversion, wish they came in plain black or siler thou  |

I agree, not sure the red & white goes with my colour scheme. They do chrome sebac ones on beedspeed but they are lots of money, and again I am not really a chromy kind of guy.

Does it ride firmer on the Sebacs? I fancy doing that conversion, wish they came in plain black or siler thou the old one's where well knackard so they are alot firmer compared ;D, the rides not hard and rear is ajustable for preload and the colour go's well with my union jack seat |
