considering ive uploaded a few photos of my T5 engine i thought i may aswell start a thread this is a ongoing project as i currently dont have the money to fund it and therefore this thread will be updated as i change things anyway here goes: Taken just after i split the cases state of the crank and the surrounding area Missing teeth on main shaft and some other shizz Empty Casings (apart from kickstart shaft) The workbench Cylinder barrel and head Where the T5 Gets its name from Current list of work to be done is: 1. Replace all bearings and seals and the hub circlip 0% done 2. Main shaft gearing needs replacing 100% done 3. new crank 0% done 4. malossi 172 cylinder and piston and new head 0% done 5. 30mil dellorto PHBH and corresponding jets and needles, standard carb while running in 6. 21tooth Cosa Clutch 7. new cdi holder 8. new oil drain bolt 9. new expansion pipe exhaust 10. Clean Cases and anything that needs cleaning 100% done 11. sandblast and paint frame colour will be Ferrari Fly yellow 0% done 12. Put it back together with no bits left over 0% done

As I am just about to split my casings and do the same you have just scared the living daylights out of me, yours looked terrible at the start, with all the damage etc. Makes me wonder what I am going to find, was hoping it was just a warn cruciform. Good luck with the project, how about a picture of the Scoot it comes from?

Blimey, that crank is pretty rusty, that's er, unusual, good luck with the rebuild..

ye thts what i thought witht the crank if it proves to be unrepairable im going to replace it, and if i took a pic of whats left of the t5 all you would have to look at is a white headset

updated plans got offered a T5 mk1 frame from uncle took it and it is due to arrive 2morro so ill upload pix when it arrives

WOW, that is stripped.. now just put the angle grinder to that rear end piece and you'd have a good looking scoot What's the plan then, use this frame with your panels?
