I've found myself promoting a gig in Doncaster in support of the Specialized project in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The venue is The Leopard, the date October 11 and the line up is:
The Talks - one of the best 2-Tone influenced bands on the circuit at the moment, they're a band any ska fan needs to see. See the review of their last release where they worked with Neville Staple in a recent issue of Scootering.
Addictive Philosophy - Derby's finest ska (with a bit of punk) band. Long established, they can rip up a storm.
The Temperaments - Fresh out of Grimsby, this old school rocksteady band have the sound sussed. Their first release 'Jankrow!' is as authentic a slab of old school rocksteady as you can imagine.
If you're going, PM me and I'll see about running a discount ticket thing.

Nice offer Nik, but doesn't a discounted ticket kinda defeat the object?

Fair point, can't argue, and with a six quid door tax it's cheap enough already
