ive got a p125x mk 1, and i fitted a dr180 kit about 300 miles ago. not much more speed, but the torque increase is excellent! hills and headwinds dont p*sh me off anymore! not sure how it would be on lml though.

someone on this forum posted this one day.
CHEAP FAST RELIABLE
you can always get two of those words to apply to a scooter, but you will be doing well to ever get all three!!

just a tip for you, if you look at kits and its speed you want, dont go for the dr180. it only increases the speed by a few mph. on the other hand, it increases the torque tenfold!!
i now laugh in the face of headwinds and hills!!!

i had same trouble with my px mk1, in the end i removed the indicators and filled the holes!! think it was the connectors shorting on the frame under the fuel tank!

check breather hole in your fuel tank top isnt blocked. could be causing vacuum in your tank therefore not letting fuel out.

hiya mate, ive got a p125x and had same problem as you. turned out the tyres wernt positioned on the rims correctly. if you look at the tyres, there is a moulded line going round the edge next to your wheel rim, make sure the spacing is even all way round. i had to inflate to 45psi to even it out, and then deflate to correct pressures. was fine after that. i use 30r/20f. hope you sort it. scotty

ive got a 1981 px125 and i had same trouble. was a pain in the arse to find, but it turned out to be the bottom of the carb tray, where the drive for the oil pump comes up through the casing. easy to remedy, a new gasket with a bit of sealant for good measure! hope this helps mate

i had exactly same trouble. i too thought it was coming from the barrel, but it turned out to be the carb box to casing gasket. it had gone where the oil pump drive comes up from the crank, and its a bitch to find unless you take the carb box off! when you put it back together, dont forget to double check all your oil channels are clear for your autolube! hope this helps mate.
