Yellow tinted goggles do help with night riding caff, but being dazzled by oncoming lights is just something you tend to get used to. The only real action to take is to slow down or even stop if necessary. Thanks for that. I do slow down lol but I have also had a car right up close behind me whose lights are shining directly in my mirrors and that was truly scary! I think I am getting used to it a little bit but still now and again they get me...especially on a right hand bend or coming over the brow of a hill. I wonder if some people are more susceptible to dazzle than others...and I'm sure some drivers don't bother to dip! I will invest in some yellow tinted goggles; even if they only help a little bit, it will be an improvement!

Thanks to all of you who have said "hello!"
Have now done over 1,000 miles on silver one...and now have a px 125 as well. Got it just before Christmas and have already done more than 650 miles on it! Boyfriend got it for me so I could practise using indicators lol
Any advice to guard against night-time dazzle from ultra-bright car headlights (apart from "Don't look at them!")?
Do yellow tinted goggles help at all?
Cheers all xx

Any advice please? When I ride out at night I am ok in towns but out on unlit roads, I find myself regularly getting severely dazzled by cars' headlights. I don't know if it's certain types; or the drivers not dipping; or the rise of the road...
All I know is I can't see f*** all most of the time - and I hate it.
I know not to stare directly at the lights, by the way!
Do yellow tinted goggles help?
Thanks...

Hello everyone. Always wanted a scoot since the age of 16 but other things kept getting in the way somehow. Did my CBT at the end of August and got on road for first time at the age of 39 ha ha! And then in September came my birthday...well, they say life begins at 40!
Now I am trying hard to make up for lost time but getting a few, um, shall we say, "teething problems" with the scoot. Well, it is 2 years older than I am lol ;-)
Must admit to a couple of moments when I've wished I'd got a px instead...but it doesn't last long 'cos I love my little small frame. Anyway, at 5'3", I've found that I can barely manage to put my boyfriend's px on or off its stand!
