hi and welcome , this does look exactly like a p range so all panels should fit as robjack stated as for the throttle spray some wd oil or what lube you have were the rubber grip joins the headset and twist throttle till smooth as for indicaters this is hard to talk through without looking firstly check bulbs are ok then check all the earths on the indicaters these are the small wires that come of the bulb housing same with rear light good luck ,ferdy

the easiest way to fit the plastic shaped ones is to make a perfect straight cut directly under the headlight yes cut them in half lots of lube and a rubber hammer a doddle / if yeah leggys are straight

£150 sounds great if hes getting bearings seals etc but the guy has stated its skint him buying it so hes on a budget but i must agree if your going to split your engine you may as well get it right first time and replace the lot

remember your mechanic can hit other problems when stripping engine seized bolts etc

that sounds a little steep when you think a cruciform is about a tenner and a couple of quid for a gasket and about a couple of hours work

|
|
Post by elviswasamod on Aug 17, 2008 19:38:08 GMT
hi there it does sound like the cruciform or it could be a worn pin on the gear selector if its the cruciform then its a engine out job and split the engine as for the kit and clutch there not a problem it sounds worse than what it is good luck ferdy

gary this is a long shot but to me de ja vue me and me mate kenny a couple of years ago riding the iow me on p2 he was on a t5 the same happened to him what happened on the inside of his engine side panel was some padding which was to sound proof the engine to a degree and it had come loose and was getting sucked in to the flywheel and causing a slight seizier hence no cool air just a long shot but maybe ,
