1981 px could need new rings or even a rebore depending on mileage. Could be in need of a serious decoke, ports need polishing, may have had replacement head and squish needs looking at, carb body may have foriegn objects were the jets sit, exhaust hammerred. MMMM where do we start.

you'd imagine so , but reed valve gives minimal spitback, half way through running in process, then its time for a blast on the dyno.
ps. i love this weather, just been out chorley way for a brekky run.

There are 11 smallframes in total 2 x50 special , 2 ET3, 2 early italian spec 50's and the rest could be anything from 50-125 cc's. Oh yeah and some big fat scooters also and a pk.

Still riding scoot, but now putting thermals on, don't wash it during winter, just let a big pile of protective sheeite build up to look after the paint. Speedo started playin up on way home from boozer the other night but I suppose at 44 years old its due to be taken apart and refurbed. Internal speedo spares who does them ? Happy xmas and to all the facebook numpties, I hope your farm has produced a fat turkey for your cyber dinner ;D

Had my malossi 136 rebored by grampian with an oversize piston just the other month. I'm sure barry turner can sort the situatuion of a rebore and over sized piston for a px out for yo. good luck

Just had some bits from a small scooter business in Swansea www.onsmallwheels.co.uk/really friendly bloke go me an oversize malossi piston ( non in the uk - VE weren't ordering. This guy got it me from SIP cheaper than SIP actually advertise for (considerably cheaper ) only had to pay UK postage aswell and the whole process was turned around in 3 days. Took my order and boom it arrived - he deals with a lot of shops/producers of parts and can come up with some great prices. I think when you get really good service it need shouting about and I will be using him again

£110 two scoots with swinton.
Gimme a scoot and a tent on a rally, otherwise I'd stay at home.
Don't buy into the dressing up scenario - I just have clothes that i wear everyday - don;t own a separate scootering wardrobe THATS JUST PATHETIC IMHO.
Totally agree on the stifled music scene- but the DJ's play what people ask for.
Aren't footbal hooligans the new Modernists these days ?
PS . Hello everyone.
Agree with Lucia - loads of people do go on Facebook these days - but scooter forums are a more sociable thing to me - I still don;t really see the point of facebooking it , other than a tool for advertising yourself and your ramblings ( says me rambling on like a hypocritical t**t)
Nice post tho' Mick point taken
