Thanks Henri, will try them. Spoke to my local dealer who'd heard of this problem before, thinks it may be part of the handlebars for that model. I'm going to drop it in for them to look at.

Hi
I've a 2006/7 LXV 50. The headlamp is separate to the plastic trim that holds the speedo etc. I noticed that the headlamp and this plastic housing were bouncing around a fair bit on the road. When I undid the housing, I found that the chrome frame that holds the headlamp on had corroded through and was only staying in place because the plastic housing was clamping onto the handlebars! To try to describe it best, it looks like a halo with a short tail on it, which fits inside the plastic housing.
I'm struggling to find this part - any suggestions please? Every spare part place I've looked at online seems to show the headlamp as integral to the plastic housing, like on my 2012 LX. However, looking on the Vespa website at the images of the models - it looks like the 2006 LXV50 (http://www.vespa.com/us_EN/Heritage.html). However I can't find the part or an image of this model on any parts website.
I'm new to this so no doubt will have gotten my models and lettering mixed up, but any help to find this or suggestions would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Paul

Hi I'm Paul from Guernsey - have just joined the Vespa family this year. Started out buying one LX50, ended up with two so we could both ride to work!
I've got a LX50 from 2007 (I think) and another from 2012 - barely broken in with 2500km!
