Hi Folks,
Anyone got an old small frame that has a flywheel without the internal thread to attach a puller tool? If so, how should go about removing the flywheel from the cam? Seems the only option is a gear puller of some kind but I'm unsure which type to get. Any tips much appreciated.

HI Can anyone point me towards a place I can get hold of a ramp / clamp to raise the scooter off the deck while I am sat staring at the engine block mystified and crying? Garage floor is giving me piles!

Cheers Henri. I'll go through all those potential causes. Hadn't thought of the choke sticking. It's a distinct possibility.

Alright folks, Nice to find a site where there are lots of Vespa aficionados. I haven't been on here before so respect to all you Vespistas! I've got a restored vintage 50L 1996. Italian built ( I brought it over myself a couple of years back with a dog, two cats and a wife ). I have just eliminated one problem in it not starting again when hot by replacing coil and HT lead. Starts with a featherlight kick. I was rattling along thinking I was the dog's bo**ocks, until after about ten mins it started bogging (which it used to do before as well as not start when hot). I can prolong the agony by pulling the choke half out which gives me back some power but it's borrowed time (another 3 to 4 minutes until it dies. I can start it again now no problem which was a luxury not possible before I changed the coil and had to regularly walk back, sometimes considerable distances with the neighbours probably looking through the net curtains p*shing themselves as I limped in to port again. I have cleaned the jets, and air filter in the carb. Spark good colour. Haven't cleaned the fuel filters in the tank yet however the problem appears related to the fact that the engine is hot. Has anybody experienced similar. Any tips, guidance would be much appreciated, Cheers me dears Bri
