Hi all im now partway through a full resto on my px125 having had the forks powder coated i have now replaced the fork linkage and pin/bearings with new. i have pressed the pin and bearings in and was wondering how "free" the linkage should be as when i removed the old one i seem to remember it being really floppy and easy . the new ones now do move easily but not quite so free and dosent move under its own weight when held up and left to dangle ,will they free up over time is this normal for a new installation thanks guys this is my first time go easy Ian

having just stripped my px too i also had trouble removing the indicator terminals and ended up having to destroy them to remove !!! i figured that for a few pounds each its worth replacing them anyway whilst restoring the scoot

hi i have a px125 1987 Efl and am awaiting the frame and bits to return from the painters following a complete strip down !(first time) i have been advised to waxoyl the underside of the rear wheel arch and floorboards up to the back brake pedal, does anyone have experience in doing so and i have seen waxoyl clear rustproofing,is it advisable to use this or the black ? or are both products the same just different colours? or is there an alternative to this with other products? thanks ian
