Thankyou all for your advice. Apparently it was the oil seals! Way beyond me sorting it, but hopefully it will be right when it comes back. Thanks again. John.

Thanks Rab, I've tried the tick over and it's been re set. It's a pk50 with a 125 engine in and I do ride it at its top end on the open road so was wondering if that had anything to do with it? Sorry to be a pain but it's my first scooter so don't really know what I'm doing and am Eager to learn! Please can you tell me how to get on the tech thread as I can only find a create thread button? Thanks again. John

Please can anyone help me. When I pull up at lights, roundabouts and give ways, when I engage neutral the engine, the revs increase by themselves and are screaming high and I have to try and get it in gear and hold it on the clutch prior to setting off again. This is burning the clutch and it is difficult to engage a gear. It's just been into the garage to be looked at and was apparently fixed! The clutch was adjusted and the cylinder head cleaned up and slightly 'flattened' to stop, any air getting in. This has not cured the problem. Can anybody suggest anything?? Thanks John.

Sorry, I've only it's registered on this site and am trying to work out how to post a thread to ask for some advice about my scooter and have accidentally managed to attach myself to your thread! John
