I wonder why they don't use their PureJet direct injection technology. It should be environment friendly enough.

Just the gasket. Buy newer style green gasket if available. Thin brown gasket may leak.

Maybe you have to open the gearbox to see if you have type 3, or type 4 crusiform?

As "henry" said, you never know until you see it. It may be from the same factory, or then it's not. I'd like to believe that Piaggio choose trustworthy parts, even if it was made in cheaper country. "OEM quality" wheels from scooter center where "FA Italia", terrible those was.

If scooter center say "oem quality", it is pattern part. Genuine Piaggio parts are called Piaggio parts.

I think oil pump isn't adjustable in any ways. At least in my PX200 it isn't.
But the gasket under the carb box leaked when I bought my PX.

Autoglym motorcycle cleaner is good for engine and rear wheel cleaning. For painted surface I use car shampoo. Tap pressure for rinsing, never power washer.

New tyres are always slippery. Ride safely and more miles and they should get better.

Hi, All, I'm having a problem finding S-A-E 30 oil for my 1989 PX 200E Acrodaleno motor in the Algarve Portugal. The closest I've come across is S-A-E 30, 4 stroke. Is there any oil on the market that is equivalent to the S-A-E 30 or can I use the S-A-E 30 4 stroke? Thank you. Hi. Are you looking oil for gearbox, or for the engine? Some older manuals says SAE 30 can be mixed in fuel to lubricate the engine, but nowadays better use 2 stroke oils. For gearbox SAE 30 for 4 stroke engines is what you need. At least in my coutry there is no SAE 30 oil for gearboxes. SAE 30 oils for lawnmowers are for 4 stroke engine, as that's what lawnmowers are.

I bought it from easyparts.nl It was original filter for PX200 (2003 or so). To be honest, I didn't even know about drilling filter when I got this filter, with holes. Old filter was without holes. That's why I did some searches, and find out this drilling thing.

I'm sure your link works fine. I use android tablet and it cannot open the link. With PC it should be OK.

I couldn't open the pdf.
I had other bolts and nuts tightened when I popped the tyre on wheel. Bolt and nut for every hole while popping, to prevent halves to separate. Good idea for steel wheels as well.

If memory serves, limit is 1.8 bar when wheel isn't fitted to wheel hub. You can manage with that pressure if or when you change spare wheel. At least it's better than flat tyre.

Good upgrade from Pinasco. Now it's probably possible to inflate high pressures even if wheel isn't fitted (in? to? Or for? I'm sorry I don't know which word suits) scooter.

I had to change green gasket some weeks ago, as brown one leaked so badly. Now with green gasket, no leaks.

I have leaky tank cap, if I fill too much fuel. Less fuel, no more leakages. Tank cap should not be immersed in fuel, or it will suck some fuel out from the tank. That's how I see it.
Breather is integrated in tank cap.

I've noticed that 2 stroke engine tends to be less smelly and smokey with autolube, if that matters.

I guess pump may cause problems soon, if you don't remove pump gears? Pump is lubricated by 2 stroke oil, I think.

Brown gasket is leaking already. Now I know what I'll do next winter; I'll split the engine again. Green gasket for me please.

Shock absorber extension nuts were not with same thread. Then I tried 8mm extension nuts. Not the easiest solution neither. I ended up to fit spare wheel like it was fitted at factory. Simple.

Dimensions for the o-ring is 234,62 X 2,62 (mm), and material is NBR70. That's what the receipt says. In case anyone is about to order o-rings online.

Yes, I bought o-rings from a local gasket supplier here in Finland. I guess it's possible to find cheaper supplier from somewhere.

You can buy kits to do this for £12.99. (3 spacers 26mm plus Allen screws) l recently bought 10 spacers off eBay for £2.80. Think I typed in m8 long but. Hth. I should have bought 8mm long nuts. Scooter Center couldn't send me 3 of the same extension nuts for shock absorber. Now I'm waiting another nuts from them, but they couldn't give me tracking code for the shipment.

To be honest I'm not 100% satisfied for Pinasco wheels. "Polished" wasn't as polished as I expected. Alloy is pretty soft, and there was a small dent already when I took it out of the box. Some slight scratches came during the assembly. Nothing major, but visible. 2 o-rings costs 23 euro.

At least Michelin S83 is so tight fit that fitting paste would be good. Makes things easier.
