If anyone is interested..........
Took fuel tank out and emptied it. Flow was very slow so took off tap to look at the 4 holed washer. On doing so saw that the kidney shaped indentation was fouled with rubber from the washer itself! New washer installed sorted that out.
Put tank back in and now running fine. Been out this afternoon and the only thing to dampen the ride was the rain!
Hope this helps others who may have exhausted their limited knowledge of the P200E!!

I will try the cap off tomorrow (too much wet stuff falling from sky right now!) and as for length I took an inch or so off it after the seize to tidy it up. Could it be too short? Don't think so???
Thanks

Recently had a seizure on my P200E. Replaced piston and gaskets all round.
Starts fine and runs like a clock when ticking over in the garage. HOWEVER, when I go on the road it dies after half a mile (if that!) and at first I was thought it was seizing again so clutch in pull over and wait! Kicked over again and starts and ticks over as before. On the road, half a mile and it dies. Repeat until fade!!!
Taken carb apart and all clean and in order. Fuel flowing from tank into carb when I disconnect pipe joining carb and turn fuel on.
At a bit of a loss now.
Any clues?
Thanks
Rob
