Just got these back from the paint shop. Engine side went straight on, great. ( bought it from Kegra Racing ). The nearside which I got nearly new from Ebay I am struggling with. The back spigot goes in fine but the front is about 1/4" short of fitting. I have managed to get it in and locked, but the top arch now sits off the body a bit. Shall I elongate the holes in the chassis both ends or just one end,if so which end. or is there something else I can do. ( not another panel )

Never heard of this problem before! I've had a few that have been harder to fit than others, they have required trial and error in fitting, to find the correct technique to make them fit.
Have you tried measuring the distance between the panel pins/spigots on your two panels, to find out the difference? That would be interesting to know!

Left it overnight and it went on better the next day, the new rubbers on the back were a bit thick. Looks OK. Thanks

Toystory, yip, everyday's a learning day 👍. We've all been there and will still go there at times. When my mates or I have trouble fitting or removing anything, we call it cup o' tea time 😉, that way you don't end up taking a hammer to what's frustrating you, on these lovely annoying at times, scoots! I have a mate who used to get so enraged with his scoots, he would throw the side panels into next doors garden! and he was a pacifist too !😂😂😂.
Glad it's on now.
