What is it when I come off the revs and it kind of pops and hisses and dies just slightly for a second just done a rebuild going sweet except that. I'm thinking timing I think I'm on original setting. It's a polini 180 moddified cassings mazuchelli race crankshaft lightened fly wheel si24 carb sip road 2 exhaust . any thoughts appreciated

Timing slightly out prob or poss electrical ? Check plug , plug cap , ht lead , cdi ?

Plug lead and cap are new and cdi ain't that old don't think it is that. Thanks for replying though. I thought maybe someone else has had this problem.

Lightened flywheel = 💩 Now that's out the way, are you still running in? Could be over fuelling.

Take it you don't rate lightened fly wheel! !!! What are the symptoms cause and remedy to over fuelling. Interesting. Thanks for the reply

Oh yeah the polini is old so I'm kind of running in but stretching it's legs a bit as well.

Symptoms are similar to what you're saying, have you got a fast flow tap? Just sounds like it's over fuelling to me. As for lightened flywheels, they are great for (real) short sprints, but to me that's where you want resistance. Lighten/port anything else, but for serious power, stick to standard weight flywheels (non electric start ones).

Hello I felt that about flywheels myself so I got one with only 500g scraped off it. I only really use me scoot for blasting round town so thought it'd make it a bit nippy-er. As for my problem i reset the timming and it seems better. However i managed to ef something else now. So will have to wait for new parts till I can properly test it out. I hate waiting for parts.
