Hi Guys
i have a Vespa Super 125 From 1966.
Engine rebuild a few years ago and lightly used since then.
I did change the exhaust a year back to tuned one as the standard was falling off.
Recently had problems with regulating the carburettor and engine speed increasing so feared the worst air leak.
The last time I rode home had performance problems and also leaking fuel so suspected problem with the float.
I am fortunate enough to have a spare reconditioned engine GL 150 similar age.
I took the carb off clean the Super engine up put the new one on with new gaskets.
Engine starts easy and responds to throttle but just stops.
Won’t even idle with idle screw wound in tried adjusting mixture screw as well.
Any help appreciated.
Cheers Gus

Idle circuit / pilot jet blocked, clean the carb with a high pressure aerosol. Let us know ?
