Hi all, I have a Vespa T5 classic and its leaking 2stroke oil like crazy. I fill the reservoir up and within 24hrs its empty. Can I just pre mix and carry on or do you reckon it could be rather more serious? Thanks

It would be best to find the cause of the issue and fix it. There aren't many places to look.
Sight glass cracked, probably more common than you imagine. Damaged oil tank. Loose or damages oil pipe. Union between oil and petrol tank, unlikely. Oil pipe to tank connection.
Good luck but nothing difficult, just remove tank and investigate. Shaunbond

Has the lube pipe rubbed against the frame, whip the tank out 15 min job. Let us know what it was as I have one.

Thanks guys. I took it to a bike mechanic I know. He said it was a pipe loose on the carb and airbox was full of oil. £30 to sort it.

That's a shame, should have posted your area and at worst it would have been either several teabags lost to the cause, or a couple of beers... Still at least you're back up and running.

What would a main dealer car garage charge per hour,Just to look at your car never mind fix it And you get your Scooter fixed ,,and peace of mind knowing it’s done correctly for £30 + that little bit of knowledge 👍🛵
