Im going to make a wheel change stand for my PX vespa.... how high should it be ?

put a brick under each stand foot for changing the front, put three bricks under the engine casing to change the rear.

If your on about one of these , this should give you some idea . As you can see the back wheel only needs to be raised bowt an inch or so .

I use a stick 1 inch square and 7 1/2 inch long and kick it under the rear shock mount. loosen and tighten the wheel nuts before using it because you know before you get down on the ground you're going to swap the jack for your head.
