All i can think of is to cut off the old one and put the new rubber in a pan of boiling water for a few minutes put a bit of lubricant on the pedal WD40 would probably be best as it evaporates then ease on the new one with an old screwdriver?

Have a look at this photo, you'll see the pedal lever top, where the rubber fits, looks lopsided πor or off center. www.pedparts.co.uk/product/3545/foot-brake-pedal--vespa-px-pk-and-t5So, to take the rubber off, you have to prize it up, from the rubbers right hand side (looking from sitting on the scoot π,), to refit, you put the rubber on the left hand (longer) side first. It's harder to describe than do, some hot water or a hairdryer on the old and new rubber, may make the job easier βΊ If that doesn't work or make sense, come back to us and we'll try to explain better, ππ MijβΊ Found thisπ, a video is worth a thousand words, as" mista freak moped" knows and I've thanked him for before , this is from his YouTube site, well worth a look, Bud ππππ MβΊ

Thanks everyone... as soon as I saw the pics of what it looked like underneath I knew how to approach it ... sorted it in 3 mins with a screwdriver and a bit of PTFE spray
