Their prices don't seem to be appreciating like their cousins. There are some cheap low mileage PX's about that are not even selling. I am only going by Ebay adverts. Is it the time of year ? or are they not as popular as the 60's Scoots.

Everything else is coming back to it, so I'm going to say it.....
Brexit.
The PX will always be the underdog to any other scoot, and I don't know why.... Decent electrics, parts availability are great, tuning parts are well catered for, obviously were not 'proper scooterboys'...... 😆 I've met a lot of 'scooterists' who have openly shunned me because mine hasn't got a 2k paintjob, it looks rough, and I use it too much.... oh dear, this got a bit ranty..... PX is my second favourite Vespa.

A lot of classic vespa riders enjoy having a px motor or T5 for obvious reasons, electronic ignition, decent lights, parts availability, faster than old 150 2 port motors etc obviously T5 and 200cc motors are the favorites for their perfomance. I am also in this category using a kitted PX125 engine in my GL, it goes great, I also have a PX. Maybe some classic scooter riders consider the PX as too easy to get hold of? To me PX is an obvious choice but each to their own, I think the market is still suppressed due to winter etc but does pick up once spring is here proper.
