Slight change of rules for this game folks, just to keep things fresh.
Instead of coming up with song titles with a running theme, this time you have to link the bands. You can do this one of two ways:
1. Name a band, and link them to another band by someone that was in both bands.
Example
I put: The Beatles George Harrison from The Beatles was also in The Travelling Wilberries.
You put: The Travelling Wilberries Jeff Lynne from The Travelling Wilberries was also in The Electric Light Orchestra
See how that works? Great.
2. If you can't think of another band that someone from ELO was in (you'd be pretty hopeless), but you can think of a cover song that links them to another band, you can create a link that way.
Example
ELO recorded a cover of Roll Over Beethoven originally by Chuck Berry
Got it? Clear as mud.
Okay, I'll kick things off in a way that should be able to get things really going:
Cyril Davies' R&B Allstars - Long John Baldry - Steampacket
So just to clarify, the next post should start with Steampacket, then name a member of that group, then another group they were in.
Simple. Off you go.

Bob Dylan, overrated. You're having a giraffe Mark surely? For my money, Zimmerman is the greatest song writer ever. Opinions eh! I never knew Mani had a stint in Ocean Colour Scene ... I said this was going to be educational. Anyway, on with the game .... The Buzzc**ks - Howard Devoto - Magazine.
