Sounds like folk to me Mark, are you losing it? Happy New Year everyone. Those of us that stayed in last night had a real treat in the form of Jools Holland's Hootananny. Great performances from Sam Moore, Lilly Allen, The Zutons were worth watching for Abi Harding on sax, Ade Edmondson's jazz version of Anarchy In The UK was funny, and Paul Weller's duet with Amy Winehouse on I Heard It Through The Grapevine was excellent, but the highlight for me had to be Seasick Steve performing his Doghouse Blues. If you didn't see it, or if you like the blues, Seasick Steve plays a battered old electric guitar with just three strings and gets an amazing sound out of it. Here's a link to a clip on his website: www.seasicksteve.com/belladrum2006.htm

I was working nights last night and caught a great music programme on Radio 2. Stuart Maconie, All singing, all dancing, all night. 0100hrs-0400hrs. 3 hours of Northern Soul. Heard a few scooter clubs mentioned and I think Spence's name. Anyway here's the play list. www.bbc.co.uk/radio2/shows/singingdancing/playlist.shtmlLooking forward to catching some more. Happy New Year

Or, indeed, you watched the repeat on New Year's day which had two of the best performances inexplicably edited out of it.

I have to echo Eltjo's sentiments Gyn, you must have more jam than Hartley's.
I did see you quite a few times but I just thought you were the token Mods, you were the only two that were dancing every time the camera was on you. Nice work fella.
