TIME OFF PLEASE.
Right, as forum moderator, instigator of this game, and therefore THE REF, I am hereby showing mod1969 a yellow card for the following reasons:
1. Have one go at a time. I only did two at the start to get the game going. 2. There is NO item of clothing in 'Start Wearing Purple', nor is there one in 'Disguises' (which was a Who song anyway) or indeed 'Handbags and Gladrags', as a handbag is an accessory, and gladrags is too vague. You also get a warning for saying it was by the Stereophonics instead of my mate Chris Farlowe.
Devo, I will let you off with a warning because you were badly influenced by mod1969, but in future there will be no altering of words to crowbar an item of clothing into the title. This includes dropping Ks from 'Mack' to get 'Mac' I'm afraid getupstandup.
However, I fully endorse such cleverness as the use of 'DJ' (but the novelty will wear off if it appears in too many song titles).
RESTART THE CLOCK, PLAY ON CHAPS.

Look boys, it's fairly simple. If it's a song title that, without changing any of the spelling, contains an ITEM of clothing that you WEAR, it's in play. No TYPES of clothing, no SUGGESTIONS of clothing, no ACESSORIES. Belts and ties are acceptable.
Zoot Suit - The High Numbers
