Probably only 150 people in the main hall at 4.30pm Sat to watch an absolute blinding 2 hour set from this excellent Birkenhead band .The set included hits from Who Small faces Kinks Bowie Kaiser Chiefs Killers Kasabian Frattellis Clash Weller Jam and many more When the audience finally let them get off the stage every person stood to acknowledge their efforts In the past there has been a lot of undeserved negative comments about this band, probably jealousy in my opinion but for those of you who stayed out in the sun at Pontins you missed a great performance.Fortunately they have now secured themselves a spot on next years Rally so you can judge for yourselves. On a final note well done to the Lancashire Alliance on showing so called bigger organisers how a rally should be run and what good Value For Money!

Totally agree Barry. Lots of people were saying they should have had the Friday night support slot instead of the (ahem) band that did. If I can recall enough of the action I hope to write a gig review, so if anyone took any photos of the band on stage I'd be grateful if you could send me a couple.
The lads came for an acoustic singsong in one of the chalets on Saturday night, that was really good but of course I was bladdered by then anyway.

I've just discovered that they have another website which is more up-to-date if you want to check out their gig dates and have a listen to their 'stuff'. www.myspace.com/moseswasamodBest band all weekend.

Moses are supposed to be playing at THE BULL in Ellesmere Port this Saturday, lets hope they turn up this time. The same venue has a punk/new wave/mod band playing called THE STORIES on 6th October.
