Hi guys after much angst I've decided to sell my lovely white vespa px bought from new by me I have really enjoyed riding the vespa but my wrist injury has slowly deteriorated and i'm finding it harder and harder to ride ,always garaged standard no modifications
I was thinking of selling last year and hoped either the gods or magic would help with the wrist but even turning off a tap causes pain now and a ten minute ride requires a bloody cold pad and it's a bit demoralising I,ve been trying to get a guide price but it all seems very confusing 6500 km and she hasn't missed a beat, full service history vespa dealer any suggestions on pricing most welcombe
From the adverts i have seen in scootering magazine if it is mint then between £2000 and £2500 but this is not a good time of year to sell, you would be be better waiting till May and the market picks up and more people show an interest and think about riding a classic looking scooter in the sunshine!
Could you manage an auto? if you wanted an auto you could probably trade in to a dealer, some of the auto scooters are quite large but there are plenty of smaller lighter alternatives or there is always the Gilera Fuoco which although quite big apparently can`t fall over! Ian
Hi ian thank you for the info ,have thought about an auto but just the pushing down ,the same as on bicycle handlebars is a pain "no pun intended" my so called mate ,suggested a mobility scooter !! not quite ready for that lol i will stick her on ebay in may as you suggest many thanks
