Anyone know where I can source a suitable sized small end bearing for Vespa Sprint genuine Piaggio ref 3760/S conrod, basically I have removed the old brass bush type bearing to replace to needle bearing, tried and these are all to loose, no markings either on top of crank to determine what oversized bearing would be suitable the aperture is approx 19-20mm if anyone can help out there this would be great the standard 15mm x 19mm x 20mm are to loose.

basically you cant , the hole size is odd an the metal isnt treated to be suitable for a bearing to run in , the cost of having it changed/treated or of replacing the conrod will be more than a new crank with a bearing little end . H

any engineering shop ,or bearing supplier should be able to supply a blank , they come slightly oversize an will need reaming to size after fitting .https://simplybearings.co.uk/shop/Bearings-Oil-Filled-Bronze-Bushes-Oil-Filled-Bronze-Plain-Bushes/c3_4511_4770/index.html . H

Dam, just read the post and was going to say you want an oilite bush.... Hi, got some 19mm standard oilite bushes they appear to fit but not tight into conrod are these ok to spin on both faces or would I need to ream down so the outer face gets pressed into the conrod?

I would have thought you would want an interference fit going into the Conrod....
